There are 6 blankets ready to be donated. Rev. Gladys and Mrs. Malvina, two dedicated collaborators of the project were responsible for joining the beautiful squares you sent. This is what a call a Network, International Network, yes, sir!

Back in October (pardon for the delay in posting this) we received a massive donation of wonderful squares. These came from England, and were made by a group who visited our office in Brazil and to whom I had the opportunity to talk about the project "Squares for Jesus". Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you...!!!


Em outubro (desculpe pela demora em postar) recebemos uma grande doação de lindos quadrados. Eles viram da Inglaterra e foram feitos por um grupo de pessoas que nos visitou no Brasil e com quem eu tive a oportunidade de falar sobre o projeto "Quadrados para Jesus". Obrigada, obrigada, obrigada, obrigada...!!!

Revd. Tom Quenet and Christine Elliot (both from The Methodist Church in the United Kingdom) personally brought the squares as they stayed some days in São Paulo during the visit to some social projects of the Methodist Church in Brazil all over the country.


O Rev. Tom Quenet e Christine Elliot (ambos da Igreja Metodista do Reino Unido) entregaram pessoalmente os quadrados quando passaram por São Paulo por alguns dias durante as visitas que fizeram a vários projetos sociais da Igreja Metodista do Brasil.

and in the first days of December we received these beautiful squares sent by the Knitting Group at St. Andrews Methodist Church in Cardiff, S. Wales.

e nos primeiros dias de Dezembro, recebemos estes lindos quadrados enviados pelo Grupo de Tricô da Igreja Metodista St. Andrews em Cardiff, S. Wales:

At this very moment these squares are being turned into cozy blankets by talented hands and soon will be warming up little babies.

Neste momento, estes quadrados estão sendo transformados, por mãos talentosas, em agonchegantes mantas e em breve vão aquecer bebezinhos.

That is what matters: people helping people and making this world a better place.

Isto é o que importa: pessoas ajudando pessoas e fazendo deste mundo um lugar melhor.

Four Baby blankets to go...! Saindo quatro mantas de bebê..!

We already have enough squares to produce four baby blankets (90 x 75 cm). Yesterday we arranged the best matches and here they are... ta da..!!

Já temos quadrados suficientes para fazer quatro mantas para bebê (90 x 75 cm). Ontem separamos os quadrados que mais combinam, e aqui estão eles... ta da...!

One with various shades of blue; one with shades of pink, and the other two in variagated colors.

Soon they will be sewn up and finally donated to one of our social projects.

Um em vários tons de azul, um em tons de rosa e os outros dois em cores variadas.

Logo eles serão costurados e finalmente poderão ser doados a um de nossos projetos sociais.

We need 30 squares to make one baby blanket.

Precisamos de 30 quadrados para fazer uma manta para bebê.
